Are you thinking only about your work and not sponsoring yourself?

Since starting this job in 2013, I have learned a lot, but I have also made mistakes. Everyone makes mistakes, but it is important to learn from those mistakes.

As a social media manager, I opened my channels but lacked the time to manage them and they ended up neglected.

You should not make this mistake. Why? This way, I am always on the lookout for new clients, and that’s fine, but potential clients don’t look for me.

Using LinkedIn to look for work, keeping my resume updated, I learned that someone was searching for me. LinkedIn is, however, just a drop in a vast ocean of information.

As I was discussing the social media management of my friend’s shop, I realized how widespread this problem is. Due to his busy schedule, he didn’t have time for the online part.

Currently, my Facebook page is inactive. I am working to revive it after years of inactivity. You are probably making the same mistake as me if you are self-employed or have a family business.

Social networks, including Facebook, are curriculums that exist on the web and must be maintained. In the case of a family-run clothes shop with a website, updating the facebook page is equivalent to making the latest clothing on sale widely known through the direct link, resulting in higher sales.

Social networking sites are not just used to waste time; they are also used to grow your business.

My LinkedIn account works well as a showcase for me. Please contact me if you do not want to make the same mistakes I did and if you need advice. By learning from mistakes, you grow, and every day I learn more.

As a conclusion, you should never ignore social media because they are an essential part of your work.
