Who is my ideal client? When you are on social media there’s one thing that you need to know: Your Ideal client.

Choosing the ideal customers means:

  1. Target the right audience
  2. Have the right message
  3. The right offer
  4. Know the right tools to use to reach your potential customers

Why should you build the ideal customer profile?

There are three valid reasons let’s see them:

  1. It will allow you to know your audience’s behaviour.

You can achieve business objectives by creating Buyer Personas by identifying the customer profile. Here are the questions you need to answer to find your Buyer Personas.

  1. What are their needs?
  2. Where do they look for information?
  3. What kind of content do they prefer to consume?

Collecting the information will then help you when you’ll start advertising campaigns.

  1. In order to get the best customers, you have to remove the wrong people from your list.

In communications, you will speak only to selected people thanks to the identified customer profiles. This way you will avoid turning to the wrong people

  1. Your ideal client is receptive to the right communication

Once you have created the profile of the ideal client, you will be able to identify:

  1. Your tone of voice.
  2. the most suitable content.
  3. the right channels.

It is vital to choose these details carefully, to put a face to the ideal client so that you will be able to relate to his needs and concerns. Start with your current customers. You might want to identify which ones are loyal to you or who are your first customers. If you do not yet have customers, choose carefully who you want to contact.

If you want to know your ideal client, I suggest you write down the following things while thinking about them.

Name (Give your client a name will help you)
Demographics (age-gender man/woman – where they live)
Job profile (role – career – spending power)
Personal traits (e.g. serious – smart – sporty)
Needs (What that pushes him/her to look for your products/services)
Goals (and how can you help him/her achieve them)
Interests and Technology (e.g What’s his/her favourite social media? IOS or Android? )

Write, correct and rewrite. Until you are completely satisfied.
